Recently some mods were removed from r/Christianity and some users were banned. Not really the kind of drama we'd usually expect to dominate several threads on the front page SRD. In any sub, users get banned and people get demoded, it's a part of the reddit lifecycle.

However, SRDs front page has become home to 4 top threads questioning the moderation team, accusing them of being power hungry and even calling them Nazi sympathizers. It's not unusual for mods in reddit to be power mad, and it's not unusual for users to accuse them of such. What is over the top is SRD basically becoming a personal army for people who are unhappy with moderation decisions on a sub.

The threads were filled with personal attacks and typical nerdrage against the moderation team and arguing about previous bans, specifically from the OPs.

And what's makes it better is that two of the OPs are actually moderators of a sub called r/brokehugs which is specifically geared towards questioning r/Christianity moderation. The third poster is a friend of theirs who is a subscriber of r/brokehugs.

The head moderator of r/Christainity has said that these posts have resulted in him being attacked and bullied.
