The /r/news mods are banning people and making up reasons

6  2018-01-18 by UnluckyIdiot

So found out I was shadowbanned on /r/news and messaged the mods to find out why, since I hadn't ever broken any of their rules and I'm accused of having multiple accounts/ban evasion.

Right, because I give that much fuck about a single subreddit I'm going to have multiple accounts to deal with it? Since the message came as just a response from /r/news instead of a moderator, I asked who they were and WHATDYA KNOW I'm banned from messaging the mod team now.

I've seen stories about them being insane, but holy crap to experience it is absolutely disgusting. How do the Reddit admins get away with talking about Net Neutrality and preventing ISPs and coorporations from being able to censor the internet when the Reddit admins are literally allowing mass censorship and abuse of power to go on unchecked?!

What will it take for them to actually get involved?!

r/news mods are retarded. More at 11.

Post in SRC if you desire karma.

No one cares.

Then don't use alts to circumvent bans?

Wow, you know I never thought about that when I'm already not doing that.

reddit mods are power tripping weirdos with no accountability

WOAH

If you want a real example of how completely retarded /r/news mods are:

You pointed out where someone contradicted themselves and they called that doxxing?

Yeah, then they tried to argue with me about it. For about a month I sent them a message "remember when you were proven wrong about doxxing?" and they cried to the admins.

That's fucking retarded.

I'm not even remotely surprised.

Wow.

How the fuck does /u/spez get off trying to preach SAVE NET NEUTRALITY when he allows shit like this? Protect the internet from censorship by coorporations, but censorship by the mods is 100% fine?

/u/douglasmacarthur /u/Kylde /u/LuckyBdx4 Please correct this injustice. How is it doxxing if they literally posted that information to reddit themselves?

What's new? Those faggots being doing it for years.

All of the default subs are leftist shitholes run by paranoid authoritarians.

One of the mods or their pets probably saw you make something that could be construed as racist (by a lunatic that considers everything racist).

So what will it take for the reddit admins to finally realize something needs to be done? I know they want to keep things the same, letting moderators have free reign to do whatever, but I feel like NEWS and WORLD NEWS are things that should have dedicated moderators only working on those subreddits to prevent blatant censorship and abuse of power.

If they care so much about coorporations censoring the internet, why don't they give two fucks about the censorship happening right under their noses?

The reddit admins are leftists, too.

They support the censorship and the only time they step in is to censor even more. They added additional restrictions to the the_donald subreddit to try and suffocate it, they turn a blind eye to the leftist subreddits constantly advocating violence.

If they care so much about coorporations censoring the internet

They don't, that was just the line they fed the liberal morons to get them to support net neutrality. Net neutrality was never about stopping censorship, it's about preventing ISPs from throttling the data of large companies like reddit that consume disproportionate amounts of it.
