This is a nice post and all, but I'm guessing that the only reason anyone is even arguing about this because these people believe 3D is superior to 2D.
if ur vegan ๐ฟ๐ฝ๐ u better ๐ณ๐ hop on๐ก๐ a spaceship๐ซ๐๐ out of this galaxy ๐ค๐ค๐ค because it's the MILKY Way๐ฎ๐ผ๐จ๐ญ not the Almond Milky Way๐๐ฑ๐ค๐ต
Perhaps we could alleviate animal suffering by hooking them all up to a machine and pumping heroin into them until they die? And then use the heroin-soaked corpses to make food for the other animals once they're born, to make sure they're addicted and docile.
u/nemo1889 lets slip the real vegan agenda- systematic extermination of all the hateful, violent species. So, are you personally going to decide which animals go on the 'naughty list', u/nemo1889? Have you thought about the logistics? Rounding up all the world's cats, dogs, wolves, lions, dolphins, whales, etc, and shipping them off on catle-cars to be mass gassed might sound like a beautiful utopian dream, but I wonder if the reality might get a bit messy?
Personally, I have faith in your vision u/nemo1889. If you guys need someone to strangle dolphins or whatever, to help in your Great Leap Forward to a non-violent, carnivore-free world, I'm willing to volunteer my services. I've always thought it was extremely speciesist of us to limit ideas like 'murder' and 'hatecrimes' to humans, and vicious flesh-eaters like dolphins, whales and chimps have been going unpunished for far too long.
But in an ideal world, the ultimate goal that vegans are pursuing is the total extermination of species like, say, all whales and, dolphins, polar bears, 99% of reptiles, all snakes frogs and toads, dogs, cats, etc?
Thank god we have amazing visionaries like you to show us how true environmentalism is about exterminating entire orders of the animal kingdom, at our discretion.
On a totally unrelated note, any opinions on the idea that the human brain needs the nutrients from red meat to function properly?
With the necessary knowledge, we could breed carnivores out of existence through genetic mutation. Species extinction (absent competing ecological concerns) isn't a bad thing. Species are a taxonomic abstraction. Individuals have moral worth.
Your last paragraph is just untrue. Not sure what else to say about it

Vegans want to exterminate the whales. And deliberating killing off whole species (or even whole orders, made of thousands of species, like carnivora) is totes no biggie. Gotcha.

looks like the OP of that thread awakened a long-dormant bloodlust, deep in collective heart of vegtism.

You're a fucking moron. The quote YOU posted explains exactly why we can't do anything like what you're proposing.

So basically you're a vegan Nazi who wants to holocaust the Jews of the animal kingdom.

So basically, you're an idiot

Step 1: Identify undesirable elements of a population
Step 2: Enact eugenics pogrom to remove undesirable traits of a population
Step 3: Be vegan Nazis

You're trolling though right, you know that ideas as far out as his having nothing to do with an average vegan.

They are not that far out, unless you mean that we can't accomplish anything like this in the near future. Which, of course, I acknowledged
