I think it is

Everyone knows that gay people pose a threat to society. They ram vehicles into crowds of straight people in European cities for refusing to accept the gay lifestyle.

/u/jakejyll there's a difference between an Abrahamic religious group not being completely accepting of homosexuality and things like criminalization, beatings, and murder. But what do I expect from an /r/Islam posters, plenty of muslims outside of your bubble who disagree with you.

Sir, the boundaries of Islam on this issue are clear. You don't have to agree with them, but lashing out like that is simply juvenile. Islam isn't going to change it's stances because Joe Blow's feelings are hurt.

Can I ask why you choose Islam over the Bible?

Because it's the truth.

How? The Bible is the word of god, it’s the truth

The Qur'an is the verbatim word of God (Allah). The Bible is not. Watch the videos in the following playlist as a starting point: https://youtu.be/Uf_k6y6k9uM

Reddit really isn't the best place to have such a discussion anyhow.

I’m just messing with you, I’m an atheist for the same reason you’re not a Christian/Jew/Sikh/etc, I don’t care about your dumb memri videos

That's not from memri. Not too impressed by your atheistic rationalism.

Plenty or Abrahamic religions have made statements like this for thousands of years and then changed. It's not like you don't adjust your religious beliefs consistently. If you didn't you wouldn't have different sects following different Hadiths and there are plenty of muslims who disagree with you on this issue. Oh and no one lashed out at you. If you want to talk about not being juvenile try critical thinking about your own religion.

The issue of homosexual behavior is a clear-cut (Qati') matter. Take it or leave it.

Not a lot of drama tbh
