Old Drama Between Strawman Eric drexler and Richard "Smalley fingers"

3  2018-02-12 by life_is_painfull

Cracks me up everytime these two neckbeards go at each other on whether or not mechanosynthesis is the future of nanotechnology instead of simple wetware. Drexler claim Smalley keeps straw manning him which mean his predictions on molecular nanotechnology has no valid criticism while Smalley REEEs that Drexler's fat engineering fingers has no place in the nano world. These plebs went at it for years until Smalley dies after but not before going full lolcow and claiming that Drexler is terrifying the children and hurting funding for nanotechnology. They even go so far as to drag in cyborg wanna be Ray Kurrzweil. Enjoy.

Lmao imagine being so humorless that not only do you not understand certain types of humor, but you actively seek and destroy humor elsewhere that you don't understand. src

I don't like your tone snappy

Literally who

Eric Drexler the father of molecular nanotechnology and Richard Smalley discovered buckyballs.

Have you ever wondered how scientists existed before the creation of Rick and Morty?

You see, Rick and Morty isn't a show. Well, the show is the physical incarnation of it, but it is actually more of a state of mind. People like Albert Einstein, Nikola Tesla, and other incredible scientists were in this state of mind when they did their best works. We have found multiple sketches of Rick and Morty characters inside of the apartments and laboratories of these geniuses around the world, suggesting that they were fans of the show long before it even began. Until the creation of the Television, this concept of Rick and Morty was forever stuck in the minds of the super-intelligent, until Dan Harmon was finally able to form it into something more tangible- something that can be perceived by an average mind. TL;DR: Rick and Morty has always been a spiritual concept which has kept science moving forward for generations, and is just now becoming comprehendible to the "normies
