Omeoga and fellow brakeman Ngozi Owumere, along with driver Seun Adigun, are all Americans of Nigerian descent who will represent the African nation in its Winter Olympics debut. Yeah, you're right. I just thought it was fucking hilarious that a literal ROTC Cadet was being praised as a hero and I had no idea where else to put that. It's even funnier when you know what people who are actually in the military think of the ROTC.
One of them, an eighteen year old in ROTC, said that some girls dream about being rescued, but she dreamed about being the rescuer and now she is on her way to being an officer in the military.
