Why do people on circlebroke, negareddit hate Elon Musk and Tesla so much?

Whenever I go on those subs I see them always complaining about SpaceX, Tesla, or Elon Musk lol.

Reddit likes him, so they must hate him. And the anti-Musk hatred on negareddit is mostly coming from one particular individual.

Are we not allowed to say who? Was that the removed top comment?
1 Ultrashitpost 2018-02-14
It's /u/Alwaystryagain, alt account of AngryDM

Yeah I know, I was just curious about the [removed] comment. Seen it a few times lately in r/drama, but never used to

The counterjerk is real, it's STEM stuff that reddit typically likes. You could get CB or nega to heil Hitler if reddit had a few postive posts on the front page about him.

They are anti capitalist, also what the other guys said about the counter jerk. That’s literally what the subs are for.

because they are mostly people not accomplishing much in life. Take /u/AlwaysTryAgain, nega's defacto leader. This is a man who makes up stories about having a girlfriend, is highly undereducated, and has 0 interest in ever working. He claims it's society's fault he can't work, when really the fact of the matter is he has 0 drive or ambition, just a victim complex he wants to stoke, whining about society while collecting welfare.

If only society would value the angry white male internet poster...

What was the comment? It got removed and then deleted.

Agreed! Elon does more in a day than those brainlets will ever achieve in their sad, miserable, soy drenched lives.

You can also take /u/combative_douche as an example as he generally has a lust for small Asian boys (allegedly) and uses his mod role to push that agenda

He's not lying about his girlfriend per se, he just fails to mention that shes dead in ditch.
1 paypalguy_ 2018-02-14
contrarians just for the sake of it.
1 aonome 2018-02-14
He's self-made and a potential counter-example to socialist claims. They also don't understand how economics works and think he's stealing from people (lol)
1 hoseja 2018-02-14
Not quite self-made tbh.
1 TheModsAreGayNazis 2018-02-14
How is he not?
1 hoseja 2018-02-14
Rich parents?
1 TheModsAreGayNazis 2018-02-14
Poor people should just stop reproducing.

I fucking hate how people try to make light of his achievements just because he didn't grow up poor. What makes it even worse is that i bet that at least half of the people saying it had as good or even better circumstances than him.
I sure do, nice to know that i have people looking down on me if i make it big.
1 trapochaphouse 2018-02-14
They hate successful people because they know they'll never be one.
1 Starship_Litterbox_B 2018-02-14
Because the driving force in space exploration and colonization will be the private sector, not the government. Expect lots more REEEEing in the future!
1 HistrionicMillennial 2018-02-14
Because they're self hating white people and he is a successful white man
1 Talonek 2018-02-14
Because they're successful, and the user haven't gotten over that "it's society that fucked me" mentality.

cuz hes an annoying twat
it's the same with ron paul spam/donald spam/bernie spam.
Diff is that politic spam is higher quality and less annoying.

I'll let good ol' Teddy explain.

Teddy Ruxpin?

I feel like at this point he NEEDS our attention to survive

Why?
1 GalacticalReaper 2018-02-14
To see what their bitching about. It’s entertaining and sad at the same time.
1 Christafix 2018-02-14
If the majority of reddit likes it, they hate it.

Because the only thing that's special about him is his PR skills, and many of the clueless tech obsessives who dominate reddit eat up his stunts and treat him like he's going to save the world with his slightly larger rockets, absurd ideas for public transport and investment in one of the many companies that makes electric cars. He's exactly like Richard Branson 20 years ago, complete with the obsession with space tourism (which is totally worthwhile and not one of the most environmentally damaging things that we could do as a species).
