I have the opposite problem: I'm so skinny that the downward and inward slope of some toilet seats propels me down into the bowl. It is a cold and dismal place down there.
It's easy to envision lolcows being unaware of what's happening in a reddit thread because there's an entire subreddit of shitposters dedicated to mocking them from afar. Leading lolcows to slaughter used to be very dangerous, with lots of injury to handlers and cattle alike before /r/drama revolutionized the process.
But I can understand losing sight of things like that. It's amazing how much of our worlds depends on and how much of our worldview is framed by the work of highly specialized shitposters, so much so that it takes a moment of pause to imagine lolcows might be afraid of downvotes for the truth.
