u/ban-able tell me more about the (((bankers))).

u/MilesSlaineYoAss What the hell are you harping on about? Of course all German soldiers were Nazis.

The SS were pretty much the only real Nazis that actually understood what was happening and knew what they were fighting for. Most German soldiers were horrified when they found out the things that the ss were actually doing in the camps and the war crimes that were being done to the people. The majority of the German soldiers were just following orders and only knew what they were told by superiors.

(((SS was supported by the kikes)))

lol

I'm sure the majority of the Wehrmacht were good and it was just the superiors trying to get into the ss that did that shit.

If by nazi you mean people part of the nazi party after it became compulsory then maybe. otherwise no, not at all, retard

Before I dive into this thread, is it safe to assume it's nothing but the usual historically illiterate bullshit about how German soldiers were just following orders and weren't bad people?

Sort of? It's hard to tell what people are trying to say

Every thread like that follows the same path tbh.

I think there is a distinction to be made between attributing brutality to other factors and nazism. Besides, there were quite a lot of regulars fighting on the eastern front - most were hardened soldiers to be sure but their conviction to nazism can be questioned.

Furthermore, the Germans' attitudes towards slavic people for example were already bad before and weren't just borne out of nazi ideology.

In general, I don't think it helps to boil it down to thinking which soldier had what level of ideological conviction. The reality of course is that the people of Germany as a nation (in excessive majority) accepted nazism as their national political belief.

The Germans made my great grandfather be a labourer (was in the BEF and got captured in France) in a milk factory in Ukraine. I'll never forgive them for sending him to somewhere as shitty as Ukraine.

Germans are literally vermin. That water better have been poisoned.
