Allow me to explain... increasingly, two major Canadian political parties, one leftist and one left-leaning, in their quest for power and control are relying on courting so called "block vote" where a specific identifiable group is expected to vote if certain special single-proposition promise is made that groups cares about. Major identity groups include Native, black, Jewish, LGBTQ, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu and all other non-white groups. The process is easy - a bunch of self-professed "community leaders" for those identified groups get together with political leadership and carve out legislative and budgetary agenda to support causes that these groups care about. Part of that process is also keeping political and social discourse free of any, even remote criticism of those groups because how are you going to justify Government making special provisions for them if they have "bad" elements?
Now, /r/canada was probably one of the last sub where both left and right views could be heard so you make your own judgement. However, special interest subs were created to mount a wave of not only accusations but wave of redefining what it means to be offensive and how to simply label anyone who disagrees a "White nationalist". Mind you, in Canada, one of the possibly most welcoming and tolerant (even of the total assholes) countries in the world. These subs are just foot soldiers being total an utter useful idiots in creating conditions in which political power process using identity politics can continue unabashed and free from criticism.
This mod they all seem to be attacking used the phrase "white nationalist" once... just once and in a context that is hard to deduce. Regardless, the whole sub became open to destruction. Sterilized echo chamber ensues.

Actually, there were a few things that made it "enough".
That's just the most damming image in a series of 24 images, there are others that add weight to the accusation.
Perma (and Lucky75) has confirmed that those screenshots are all accurate and uddoctored, and made a half-ass attempt to "add context".
Apparently there is zero slack history for these conversations (suspect, but whatever). But aside from that, they have zero history of any conversation that exonerates perma. Which is strange because they have apparently been discussing implementing new rules. Considering the topical natural of racism and white nationalism in /r/canada, there's no way that the subject hasn't come up very recently.
VJ, the mod who leaked the images was forced under threat of doxxing to delete his account immediately after this happened. Which makes sense if you're perma and lucky75, it doesn't really make sense if you're part of the /r/ogft countermovement who could use a guy on the inside who's willing to feed them insider data.
