not really, there are fine black people in south louisiana and there are some who are absolute animals, plus there are many places I want to live that aren't shitholes that have plenty of minorities (namely Houston, Nashville, Charlotte)

everything in this state just sucks ass, and it starts with the governments. its astonishing how terrible they are and how okay everyone who lives here is okay with how terrible they are. You can look at it as a race issue, but that 40 year long bussing case in baton rouge is what ruined every public school here, but its more of a cultural issue, if the parents dont give a shit, the kids dont give a shit, and if you go to school with kids who dont give a shit, your education suffers, no matter how hard you try or how much money the school gets. If I want to raise a family in this parish, I either have to move to the outskirts where the ISDs are (coincidentally the EBR ISDs are the best schools in the state) or pay for private school. sending a kid to a public school in ebr is a death sentence.
eh why not, blind racism is retarded but most of the anti-black racism in the baton rouge area is found in the aforementioned meth heaven, livingston parish, just because meth addled retards are racist doesn't mean there isn't a huge problem with our local black community especially their leaders like our mayor and city council members. The last mayor we had was a black democrat and everybody loved him, current mayor is a black democrat and its only taken her a year and a half for her convince me there is a 0% chance I will stay here after I graduate, but our new governor isnt helping either.
All louisiana does is raise taxes, and then pisses that money away to corruption and inefficiency. Ill proudly join the brain drain from this state, and yes, I am considered one of the "brains" in this shithole.
