I'm not even sure what your point is. Yeah I'd rather sleep with a dakimakura of my waifu Renge-chan than with some random 3D slut but that doesn't mean I'm desperate, it's the opposite, it implies that I have standards.
It's just more evidence that everybody likes to be a bully from time to time.
Some people like being bullies way too much, some people feel all super guilty about their perfectly normal desire to bully somebody else.
And then furfags, soyboys, and feminists latched onto the idea that it's OK to punch up, which gives them the excuse to bully without feeling guilty about it.
When at the end of the day we're all bullies, the only difference is who we bully and how frequently we do it.
