One retard complaining about his "old" doors. I do agree they're a bit too trigger happy with snipping cars open with their tools.

If you could destroy asshole's cars, wouldn't you take every chance to do so.

I'm talking about cutting them open "for safety" after an accident or something. Like The Grand Tour talked about.

If you could cut cars, would you not do it whenever you possibly can.

Nice article but doesn't explain why they would axe the doors.

Mayhaps it was in order to get thru them?

100+ year old antique solid core doors can't just be picked up at home depot

No one cares about your shitty old doors. I can grantee you the firefighters didn't even notice jack shit about the door besides it wouldn't open before breaking it down

You have to custom order they take months to make and are still never as good as the original

Then buy a normal door. Or don;t but fancy locked doors in the way of firefighters

ll because some meat head can't figure out how a knob works

Or more likely because the door was locked or otherwise couldn't be opened without the use of force

All that being said I did once have to deal with a retarded volunteer firefighter who wanted to open the door to a server that was on fire in order to hose it, completely ignoring that the server room was both sealed and had it's own fire suppression system. Luckily the other firefighters where far less retarded

slow down tuff guy. so your contribution is that a person should buy "normal" doors so as to avoid having to avoid having to custom order them on the off chance an axe-happy firefighter smashes them up?

No I think you should buy normal doors because only a retard wanker buys fancy old custom ones.

Fancy old custom

At this point I just feel sorry for you. Given that you are either mentally handicapped or on crack, I shouldn't have engaged. However I would like to point out old and custom in this case are two separate things. Old would be the original doors installed at the same time as the house was constructed and custom would be the new ones that had to be made so that the hardware and dimensions were consistent throughout the home.

You could choose option 2.

Put out the small fire yourself. I mean why did you bother calling the fire department if the fire was so small they had time to lackadaisically put it out?

Actually I just think you shouldn't let your shit light on fire

They should have saved the door instead of you tbf.

Well put Mr. Mayor

No, they shouldn't park in front of a fire hydrant, dumbfuck.

My contribution is the damned doors don't matter when the choice is letting the fire burn.

/u/everythingiswrong911 maybe, did you consider, the fire department was trying to protect the rest of the building from turning into a fireball?

But then again I don’t understand why one would have custom doors. Is it so you can joke about your hand finished wood?

They aren't custom they are original to the house... They just don't make them like they use to

Antiques are trash and the world you’re holding onto is dead

Thanks for the heads up K town

That changes everything then. I would have thought you were retarded, unless the doors were original!

I'm starting to sympathize with those fire departments that just let it all burn to the ground if nobody is inside and they didn't pay the fee.

Plus have you seen the video in the linked thread?

You should light yourself on fire

So cute firemen will smash me :-)

I can understand why he's upset but shit happens.

Next time let's just let his house burn down.

I can promise you that the door was actually locked and the dipshit just lied about it. Anyone who gets this angry over something that reasonably be done in the course of someone's duty is usually at fault but trying to deflect.
