I'm Indian and im sorry but I need to rant about Indian men. They are horrible, misogynistic and they think they own women. Pretty sure they would love it if all women just shut up and stayed home forever and never tried to occupy public space. I am sick of them. In my first year of college, we protested against men sitting in their cars outside the gates and masturbating at us. In my second year, we protested when a man entered a women's accommodation and masturbated at the women there. In my third year, we protested against men throwing semen-filled balloons at women to celebrate Holi (the "festival of colours" where men can harass women with impunity and consent doesn't exist because hey its Holi. There's actually a saying that goes "bura na maano, Holi hai" which means "don't mind/take offense, it's Holi!"

I love this idea that some black Americans have about this imagined worldwide solidarity they share with African blacks. In reality, African blacks can't even stand each other, let alone uppity, spoiled, privileged African-Americans.
