I said ban morbidreality because I was not going to engage in petty whataboutism, not because I have a strong opinion on whether is should stay or go. If you say it's worse than WPD, I'll take your word for it. But WPD is straight up gore porn - don't pretend like watching someone get executed with a chainsaw somehow makes you "realize the fragility of life" or prevents suicides.

Thats a good idea you got there. Make a big stink about all the subs with similar content. Make a detailed list and send it to vice to show them how unfair theyre being because its not just /wpd. Spam the list all over reddit so everyone knows about this terrible injustice youre being forced to endure. Once the rest of reddit sees the content you're fighting for and the double standard youre fighting against theyll force spez to unban the sub. This is the kind of brave stand against censorship that could trigger a reddit-wide slow clap. Imagine that!

Its probably a good idea to make sure vice understands that none of wpd's subscribers masturbate to the videos. Theyll probably try to brush off any attempts to explain this "fact" so only the most verbose and determined wpd subscribers should be recruited to contact vice everyday to hammer this point home. Write letters, compose songs, whatever it takes to convince people that the sub is not all about jacking off to horrifying murder videos.
