Proof of vote brigading, reports are constantly ignored by Reddit Admins.

26  2018-03-23 by frisbee_coach

I am a mod at /r/conspiracyundone, and we routinely deal with vote brigades from /r/TopMindsOfReddit. On Monday, they got a little too obvious. I have copied the text from the sticky on our sub for more visibility. We have documented and reported every time they have brigaded the sub, with no action from reddit admins for repetitively violating the site wide rules.

The thread in question.

The TMOR thread linking to it.

Bans given out as a result of that thread.

If the thread wasn't enough to indicate vote brigading, take a look at the subreddit traffic from the day.

More traffic stats so the anomaly is more noticeable.

Most importantly, this thread is now the highest viewed thread in this small subreddit's history. Only 1 other post had the same number of views, likely because it was xposted to numerous other subreddits and twitter. That post is also the #2 post of all time in the sub.

Here are a few of the view counts from the top posts of all time.

For comparison, here's the top post of all time on TMOR that linked to this sub.

Notice the high number of views, similar to the post brigaded on Monday.

Lastly, here is a copy of the message sent to the admins.

Will update with the reply.

TMOR are the easiest folks on reddit to milk as fat ol' lulzcows. They just cant get enough.

I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. It makes it possible for us to call you an idiot without brigading.

OMG U R BIRGADING /R/DRAMA WITH THIS POST DO NOT!!!!

Post this in SRC. Literally no one cares here

I care, I'm adding that sub to my "brigade routinely" list

Reported this post for inciting vote brigading.

You going to brigade archive.is links?

Yes

Fake as fuck.

Brigading is the most arbitrarily enforced rule there is. Deal with it.

Brigading is weirdest concept because most of the big subs r/news r/worldnews and r/television and r/movies would complain about brigades when all of them are the most basic names for a subreddit and are super big so its likely said posters and dislikers are users of the subreddit.

The admins are leftist cucks and they enforce rules according to the political and business agendas.

And you were only seven comment karma from retirement!

Admins don't really care about vote brigading any more unless it's organised or violent.

What in the world does organized even mean?

Like if I linked your profile and told everyone to go down vote you. We've gotten messages from the admins about that before.

Gotcha, so not regular grade brigading by linking to a comment or thread and saying how fucking retarded it is and everyone gets downvoted by 50.

Yeah, they basically stopped enforcing the voting/commenting in linked threads rule 2 or 3 years ago as far as I can tell. I was kinda annoyed that they stopped tbh.

They maybe enforce it completely randomly just like they do with everything else in their fake rulebook.

Could have sworn people have told me about getting banned for brigading within more recent years.

I'm sure it happens occasionally but probably only when people are being complete shits and it's somehow controversial. I enter threads from modmail or this sub all the time and I never get in trouble.

r/intortoise basically made up that rule to come down on r/srssucks and ban r/counteringsrsbrigades and such. It’s a stupid rule that never made much sense.
