I’ve taken psych, human growth, & A&P. Currently on my way to get my AS. Gender starts to become very clear from age 2 onward. Look at the Dr. Money documentary and see what happens when you put gender “on a spectrum”.

I'm very familiar with Dr. Money's story but what he did is more akin to what we do to kids now--telling them what their gender/sex is, that it's unchangeable, and that they should be raised a certain way. His giant fuckup actually provided tons of support for transgenderism despite your inability to grasp that.

What does "gender" even mean in this context? It seems like whenever people make biological sex and gender separate entireties, "gender" ends up meaning "gender roles" and stereotypes about gender, which just seems really fucking backwards to me.

Why not just have biological sex for practical reasons where sexual dimorphism makes a difference, and let people do and choose what they want regardless of gender without trying to fit it into two discrete categories?

XX = female

XY = male

Anything else = anomaly
