I worked together with a youtuber. This is a person who puts videos on a site, and other people watch these videos. I was also in a relationship with this youtuber. This is when two people love each other and do grown-up things.
Then, the grown-up man drank alcohol. Alcohol is a liquid that can make people go a little cray cray. The man went a little cray cray, and he assaulted and raped me. This is when a person hurts your body, and violently stabs either your anus or vagina with any body foreign object. A body foreign object can be a penis that is not yours, a pencil, a tree branch, a bottle, anything really. This is called rape.
Then, the grown-up man manipulated me not to press charges.
This is when a person tries to trick you not to do something.
Then, the bad man (yes, we're calling him bad now), treated me like poop. When you treat someone like poop, you treat them very badly. He then tried to cover up what happened with blackmail and threats. This is when a person tries to hide something they did, and says they will do bad things to you if you tell on them. This bad man told me he would spread lies about me and dox me in his own community. Doxing is when people reveal details about you online to a lot of people. This scared me a lot.
This all happened after I went a little cray cray myself after I was raped, and I suffered a miscarriage. A miscarriage is when a baby is growing inside a woman's womb (which is in her belly), and then dies.
I was put inside a hospital (a place people go to get healthy if they are sick), because I was really sad about everything, and didn't want to live anymore, because of all the bad things the bad man had done to me. This was a little crazy of course, because I had every right to live, and shouldn't have wanted to die, but at that point I saw no reason to live because the bad man killed the light inside of me. This is a way of saying that they destroyed your spirit: who you are, what you believe in, and the things that make you, and make you want to live.
I stayed silent for this bad man. He then wanted to come over to talk while I was inside a hospital. I allowed him to come over, which was a REALLY BAD DECISION.
He then came over to talk about everything that happened, had some more liquid, and threatened me. I was drugged when this happened. Meaning, doctors (people who try to heal people) had giving me pills so I would feel better. These pills made me very confused at first, it's something that can happen in the beginning. While I was drugged, the bad man sexually assaulted me again. This is when someone touches your body in bad ways you do not want.
Then, he tried to frame me and use this moment against me, to make it look like the first rape and assault didn't happen. Framing is when you try to set a trap for someone else and make them look guilty of something they did not do.
Then, when I tried to break the bad man's power over me, I told people the truth. The truth is when you tell what has happened exactly. The bad man's fans found out and started asking questions, because we worked together, and some of them knew.
The bad man then used the subreddit /r/exurb1a he was moderator of (which was also about him) so other people would not like me and send me horrible messages. /r/exurb1a is an internet community where many of his fans came looking for his work. The bad man used this subreddit in a very sneaky way so people would get mad at me. He deleted negative posts/comments about him, but kept negative posts/comments about me.
When fans found out, they talked about this, and called it censorship. The bad man did not like this and tried to hide that he had been censoring his fans. He allowed a couple of posts/comments through so people would not doubt him, while in reality he was still censoring important evidence against him.
The result was that his fans and anonymous accounts started sending me horrible messages. They said I should kill myself, while I was inside a hospital, trying to get healthy again. They told me I was crazy, a whore, a slut, using drugs around my own child, etc.
As a result, I stayed inside the hospital for 7 months, because all this made me really sad and made me want to die even more.
Eventually, after a year of threats and horrible messages, and even the bad man's sister who threatened me, I found a lawyer who wanted to help me. Now, the bad man is going down, because I'm taking him to criminal court! This is when you try to get justice and put someone in jail. Jail is a place where bad people go who have done bad things, so they can't hurt other people for some time, and have a long and good think about what they have done.
More people started to believe me recently, since I started to share more evidence, and even the website called Youtube, where the bad man and I post youtube videos, send me a message about what had happened. They are now looking into the bad man.
A few days ago, the person who created the subreddit /r/exurb1a, messaged me. The bad man never created the subreddit. Someone else did.
Apparently this person thought this subreddit could be useful to me, given the mod log in there. A mod log shows what has happened inside a subreddit: what has been censored, hidden, and what messages have been sent by the moderators of such a subreddit.
The previous owner said I could have it, and said they wanted to have nothing to do with it anymore.
So now, I am in control of the mod log, and I can prove the things the bad man has done to me!

I had been speaking out online publicly about police failure, sexual violence, and my case, for months. After we got in touch, he invited me to Amsterdam to share my case with him: my story, all the police failure (of which I had evidence: recorded telephone conversations between the police and myself, print screens, e-mails, etc). After this conversation, he agreed to take my case pro-deo, which was the best thing that happened to me in a year, because my lawyer is a famous victim lawyer in the Netherlands, known for some famous victim cases & his vocalness in the courtroom and outside it, for victims.
In November 2016, I was not able to press charges at police station in Sofia, Bulgaria, (where the first rape and assault happened) due to a language barrier. The police there didn't speak English, and I didn't speak Bulgarian. They couldn't help me, after I spent an hour at the police station trying to communicate with them.
In January 2017, I was not able to press charges at police station Sittard in the Netherlands, because of police mistakes. They told me I had to go back to Bulgaria. I asked them to file a police report instead, and write a note I had done so which I could make public, because people started to threaten me online and said I hadn't gone to the police. At the time, I kept the real name of my rapist private. I asked the police to use his youtube name in the note. Filing a police report took 2 hours.

It took 2 extra meetings and 4 hours total at a different police station (Roermond, the Netherlands) before finally, charges were pressed.
In the first update I received about my police case, I was told they could not locate my rapist. Neither in Bulgaria, but also not in the UK. Strangely, they couldn't locate his family in the UK either at the address I provided: the address I visited myself. The police told me if I had more evidence that could help them with the investigation, I should contact them; but that for now, the case was put on hold.

Within 24 hours I located the location of my own rapist, based on one of his recent youtube videos in which you could see his apartment, and an advertisement of this apartment on Facebook. It proved he lived in Sofia, Bulgaria.

I contacted the Dutch national Ombudsman and filed a complaint against the police. The police did not reply.
I got in touch with the NRC; a Dutch newspaper from the Netherlands, who started to research my story, my rapist, and police failure regarding my police case.
Because of all the police failure already in January 2017 and November 2016 (Bulgaria), I had recorded all police conversations between the police and myself. I presented these conversations to the journalists of NRC to prove the police failure in my case: that I had to trace my own rapist for them, because they couldn't find them, and that the police had treated me not very friendly.
I e-mailed the national Ombudsman about my communication with the journalists, and told the NO that I had recorded police conversations to prove failure. I asked the NO to bring this to the attention of the police to trigger a response to my complaint.
November 3 2017: Finally, the Dutch police responded, after hearing about the journalists who were looking into my case, and the recorded police conversations. They had made a new decision: the case would be sent to Bulgaria, so the police there could investigate it. What happened in the Netherlands however, they weren't going to investigate in this part of the case, because they thought the burden of proof would be difficult, and the most severe parts of the case happened in Bulgaria anyway, and this part would be send to the Bulgarian authorities. In the e-mail reply, which was a reply to a complaint regarding the police, the police made a mistake AGAIN: they referred to my rapist as someone with the Bulgarian nationality, while my rapist has the English nationality, and only lives in Bulgaria due to school. Again, I filed a complaint against the police for making a decision in a case, based on false information (that my rapist was Bulgarian). They dropped this complaint based on the 'fact' that the case was this being 'investigated' (aka sent to another country). They found a loophole once again, to not reply to a rape victim, and all police failure in my case.
I offered the police all my recordings of the police calls, to prove failure, but they refused to download it and listen to it.
In December 2017, due to all of this, I was able to tell my story to Dutch lawyer Richard Korver, who agreed to take on my case pro deo, and to essentially file a complaint against the Dutch police for dropping the Dutch part of the case, while there was enough evidence to investigate this case.
Now, back to 2018. My lawyer is working hard on my case. Currently also investigating if more police failure happened. The police is refusing to give my lawyer my police file (WHY OH WHY IS THAT?) - I personally believe this is because they need more time to hide all their fuck-ups and edit the file more. We'll get it eventually (When we object 10 times and take them to wherever we have to take them to get the file). My lawyer has filed a subpoena request for Exurb1a to appear in court, so I hope his ass will be dragged over here soon.

I confronted the Dutch police at police station Sittard about this failure. They set up a meeting with me so I could press charges. They apologised during this meaning. It turned out during this meeting, I couldn't press charges at all that day, and needed to go to a different station.
