Pot circlejerking as a miracle cure is annoying enough, but the idea that LSD is totally harmless no matter who takes it is just wank. There's a reason that people who take ridiculous amounts of acid get permanently fucked up. Hell, there's guys on the street corners in San Francisco who have probably been standing there since 1967 because their brain chemistry got diddled like a teenager on the set of Jim'll Fix It.
Don't get me wrong, it's probably a beautiful, mind-opening drug in the right situation. But if you're a mentally unstable person or you aren't in the right place, it can really fuck you up. Bad trips are the worst, because that monster you see chasing you is absolutely real in every way.

On the other hand, I knew a guy that got perma-fried from using too much LSD. Before, he was an asshole neo-Nazi; after, he was too far gone to be effectively racist. Still dressed like a stereotypical skinhead tho. He also wound up constantly giggling like a little schoolgirl, which I can only really consider a positive.
If you have a family history of mental illness, don't fuck with it. I've done acid easily 200 times in doses as large as half a vial of liquid (fifty hits). No issues. I am now so well-adjusted that I subscribe to a subreddit where "bussy" dominates conversation and the merits of various mass shooters are compared in chad/virgin meme format.

Some dude in my dorms that i tripped with freshman year told me had an 'ego death' and acted all nice and hippy like for a week but by the end of the semester my iphone 5s was gone and I'm 90%+ sure that he stole it.
In case you don't feel like checking their comment histories, I can confirm that every single one of those "LSD greatly improved my life" people is a complete loser who has absolutely nothing going on in his life other than getting high.
