I think modding a sub is more akin to being on the PTA or an HOA board in previous decades. Empty, soulless people obsessed with rules, clauses, procedures and meetings, grasping at their tiny modicum of power to fill the empty void in their life. Now anyone can be this person, and there are potentially infinite groups to lord over.
