I don't agree with Terfs in the slighest, but i have read from psychology publications about a link between young gay boys who turn trans as a means to cope with them being gay.
The idea is that for children the shame of being gay is greater than the shame of being trans.
Later it turns out they were just in denial about their sexuality.

That's a good picture to be honest. I wish I looked half that good. Pretty sure even that mustache is litteraly a hate crime where I live though so I'm not risking it.
Sadly very stringent anti hate speech laws, and also anti face covering in public laws, make it unpractical. I'm limited to using racist dogwhistles and cryptofascist imagery in public.
