A day later, NEETs in a corporation within the now destitute alliance have gathered personal info of one of the spies/thieves, and posted it in their internal Discord: Leaked internal Kenshin logs of them threatening and doxxing my wife and I (personal data censored)

EVE drama is pretty big because it's not like WoW or Rift or ESO, where you lose no assets other than gold. Huge scams and defections cause entire alliances of thousands to collapse (as happened with the CO2 defection a few months back), and there is real-world monetary equivalents involved.

A director, I guess, in the corporation Kenshin defected to Goonswarm. Kenshin is part of Darkness. alliance, which is in charge of the Guardians of the Galaxy coalition (a coalition is a group of alliances, an alliance is a group of corporations, like guilds). Rather than go quietly, he decided to transfer several Fotizars (large player-owned structures in space) as well as a Keepstar (the largest citadel available, worth 300-billion ISK in in-game currency for the structure, not including fittings and rigs). Because of this, Darkness. was left with significant assets lost and stolen (the person also absconded with 50-billion ISK in assets I believe). In response another director in the corporation released the DOX of the defector and his wife; Sort Dragon, the executor of Darkness. demanded the director be kicked (his main was, alts were not) and then a recording came out showing that the CEO of Kenshin and the rest of the directorate was in on the entire thing.

I think the one side bribed some guys to leave the keys to the deathstar in it while it was in the corporate hangar and also left the door open to the garage with all the corporate jets and supercars (whatever the Eve equivalent is). A friend of mine played this and there was always drama from someone selling out there side for $$. Like, your gang pays a guy $5k and he leaves the space station open.
