While Stein handed over all communications with Russian media organizations, as well as information about her 2015 travel to Moscow, she refused to comply with a request for “communications with Russian persons, or representatives of Russian government, media, or business interests.”
To Stein, such a request apparently included communications with potentially “millions of persons whose ancestry includes Russian heritage, rendering the request impossible to satisfy.”
Lol. There's probably something good in there if she's pretending she can't understand what their asking her to turn over.
I mean it IS a perjury trap though. The law isn't about the "spirit of what is being asked" it's about literally what is being asked. They did the same shit to Carter Page, and he also told them to pound sand. And so far nothing has come of that.
We told you to give us ALL your emails with Russians yet you did not hand over this communication.
I think it's more valid defense for Page since he has business connections in Russia (which are probably not 100% legit but irrelevant to the investigation) but I could definitely see why anyone wouldn't want to comply.
The law isn't about the "spirit of what is being asked" it's about literally what is being asked.
"Russian persons" would clearly mean Russian citizens at the outer reaches. Saying it might apply to people of Russian descent is fucking hilarious. There's no way in hell that came from a lawyer.

How so? Unless they've testified under oath that the things in their communications and their meeting didn't occur.
They both have doing shady things with Russia and "pro Russia Ukrainians" in common.

Jill Stein does deserve prison but that's for her anti vax position.
