So, WWE recently ran a huge show in Saudi Arabia where the women were not allowed to compete because SA still views women as second-class citizens. There was some controversy about this but most fans were perfectly okay with turning a blind eye to this bullshit because clearly, the country is changing because women are finally allowed to drive (wow, such progress) and were certain that they would be able to compete next time because they considered a fucking wrestling show to be the "baby steps" of progress. However, during the show WWE ran an ad for their next PPV that dared to show a woman competing and even worse "dressed indecently" causing the General Sport Authority of Saudi Arabia to kindly correct any assumptions of progress being made. Resulting in this shit show thread.
