I remember being in complete awe when I found out trump won. I was wide eyed with a crushing feeling deep in my chest, in despair for the fate of our country.
I heard my ten year old say “Daddy?” I turned to him.
“Yeah buddy?”
“Is Mistew Twump gonna send Andy (his black friend) to the concentwation camps?”
I was shocked that a ten year old, A TEN YEAR OLD, would even be forced to think about this.
“No, buddy. But I can’t promise anything.”
That question has stuck with me ever since. Thank you for posting this. Me and my son would like nothing more than to see Trump out of office.
