The real problem is that redditors are young, and they want a job where you can “sit around and do nothing all day” and are furious that they aren’t allowed the same job, because let’s face it, this generation budding out of college is realizing they have very little real world skills that are applicable to companies that actually pay anything. So they are sitting there with their retail job makin $12.50 an hour while gaining no discernible life skills while their debt balloons and their degree becomes obsolete, and look over at a woman who has pretty much the same training as them, makin $50 puttin her feet in the air and get angry.
If only they had one iota of self awareness they would realize that investing in themselves leads to a much longer feeling of self worth compared talking down to a random cam girl on the internet. And to the guy comparing camgirl salaries vs camguy (if that’s even a fucking thing) salaries you truly the most pathetic person in that whole thread.

Oh I’m sure there are guys out there who make good money, hell I was in a class with a...larger ~30 y/o mother who claimed to make a good deal of money camming, she said she literally just cleaning her kitchen naked and dudes would pay more money than I made as a project manager at the time. If she’s makin money then I would have to imagine men are making money as well, but I think you have to admit that the market just isn’t as strong for men in porn as it is for women (especially straight men).
