I don't quite understand your rebuttals here. But I'll say this: I can critique someone's take on a serious issue without saying they shouldn't have a voice. This is the medium and the way he choice to speak on these problems in American society; I just happen to think it's a bit...played out.

What I would like to see is more conversation about how black people survive trauma. Dear White People season 2 explores this subtly, and I kinda liked it. I don't want to ruin the show for those who haven't watched - but the main character goes through some situations that I think a LOT of people who are emotionally invested in protesting have been through. Heck, black people in general.

I'm interested in seeing how black people process this trauma. I don't necessarily want to see violence inflicted upon white people, or any type of role-reversal. Americans are de-sensitized to violence in general, and I don't think taking a white person and putting them in the situations a black person would normally find themselves in is the way either.

Just some thoughts. I'm not an "artist" but I am a black person. So I should get a say in how I am represented, I think
