So, little backstory, Star Wars Battlefront was released 6 months ago to massive hate because it had paid loot boxes that were tied to speeding up progression. People bitched. Impotent gamer rage was suddenly potent as EA/DICE removed the loot boxes (and essentially broke their game doing it). Ever since then /r/StarWarsBattlefront has been an asteroid field of hate for EA. Over the past 6 months the children gamers of /r/SWB have been bitching and moaning for content related to the cartoon series The Clone Wars. Even though the developers stated since the beginning that new content will be released in conjunction with major milestones in the the SW's universe (AKA NEW MOVIES) people still expected Clone Wars shit. Well, today new content related to Solo, not their favorite kids show, was announced and the sub went nuclear.
