The guy who made it doesn't like marvel's current crop of gay furry comics.
The comic itself is supposed to be mostly a-political, by intent.

Marvel seems to be doing shitty in the comics front despite their on screen success.
Have you see She Thor? It is fucking awful. The first issue has a lady beating the shit out of her husband because "Wow A Lady Thor!!"
Then they even 'gamedrop', and bring up MRAs and isreal. I guess the writer LIKES the anti-gay regime of Hamas.

So glad the only capeshit I read is books I get for free from the library and Empowered.
Basically the best thing about this is that people are getting upset over the extremely rare instance of someone who takes the piss out of other people, actually stepping up and trying to do better.
