Chamberlain was just really dumb for thinking appeasement would work. However the British did not allow Nazi Germany to train their men in England nor did they provide them with all the war material they needed to rebuild their war machine. That honour went to papa Stalin.

I like how you avoided addressing things like the invasion of Poland, the Gulag system and the Red Terror that Stalin did way before the Nazis started their purges. Stalin only fought the Nazis because he had to, he would have been quite content to keep trading and letting them fight France and England if he could.

The Allies rebuild Europe and even today the West is far more developed and healthy than the East. They didn't even have to try to ethnically cleanse countries like Belgium and Germany!
