Can I tell you a secret. I really don't give a shit about Deadpool either way. Matter of fact I liked the first one. I wanted to see how many tendies got tossed.
You guys care way too much about the quality of your low brow fun movies. Your brain doesn't rot if you occasionally consume media that isn't ground breaking or original.
I hate replacing actual jokes with references. I've only seen the most recent trailer but there seems to be a couple decent jokes in there. The middle-aged guy joining the team and the twirling swords, bullet deflecting jokes were legitimately funny. The rest seemed to be referential humor.
Among capeshit movies that are basically all stupid it's at least subverting some tropes. It's not like we're discussing transformers levels if stupid here.
