My dad had an actual anaconda back in the 80's it escaped in central Jersey, but he found it dead around a pond a few weeks later. He described it as a loving and affectionate pet, personally fuck everything about pet snakes.

I had a pet python when I was younger and one time I put it on my neck and it actually tried to choke me.
We ended up getting rid of it a week later. It's pretty wild how strong those snakes are.
