Honestly, most subreddits turn into complete shitholes around 10K subs.

Thankfully, we were a shithole from the beginning.

/r/programmingcirclejerk is also still pretty decent, probably because the mods are nazis about agendaposting.

<10K is too small. You don't get enough traffic to have a steady stream of steady posts.

It's time to pour gasoline all over the place and light it up. History will remember us as martyrs and blame the ATF.

How did that happen so fast? We hit 50k like a couple of months ago.

Is it just me or does this sub's activity seem to correspond with a much smaller userbase? I mean, it's kind of uncommon for a post to get more than 300 upvotes and you can really recognize the core group of users in almost any comment section here.

Yep, that's the case. Most of the subscribers don't actually come here often.

I actually have a pet theory that someone is creating alts and subscribing them to Drama to boost up the subscription count because it drives everyone around here crazy.

I have no proof, but I just feel like this sub doesn’t have any more subscribers as it did at 50,000

People come here, subscribe because of the taytay, and then leave and don't visit again.

This place like 25% alts. It's incredibly common to see a fresh account that knows all the users here.
