When I read the words "sin tax for the sinful leaf" I immediately expected some choice stoner drama. Instead I found snowbacks arguing about the excessive taxes they pay on their shifty beer. I've gotta admit I'm a little disappointed.

Insurance becomes a tax when you cannot opt out. Since car insurance is mandated by the Govermment - an imposition of sorts - then yeah, it is a tax.
