Well, why would a set designer choose to put up a portrait of a man that was the foundation of communism rather than an philosopher who’s philosophy had actual positive outcomes? What has Marx done to warrant hanging a portrait of him at a American school for higher learning?

No. I wasn't a huge X-men fan, but they never talked about equalizing humanity, and they certainly never ever talked about economic systems. On it's face, the various mutants are unequal because of their different powers. Only if you disconnect your brain from reality can you equate a multitude of different super powers to have the equality of outcome which communism seeks to achieve. Red Skull was converted from a nazi to a Communist because that's where the threat to America was coming from. That retcon was allowed even though the Soviets hated the fuck out of nazis because of WWII
Just like the mutant control act, AR-15 owners should revolt, because comic book stories can be selectively applied to real life situations?
