I mean, it makes sense to me. Typically, intersectional feminists (and critical theorists in general) describe racism and sexism in a Marxist way. The framing is that of a class struggle. "Whiteness as property" is kind of a landmark in critical race theory with 4000+ citations according to Google Scholar. Derrick Bell's work as "the grandfather of critical race theory" is widely described as being rooted in Marxist philosophy (see his wikipedia page) and interested in fighting and winning through taking over academia and "mainstream debates over affirmative action, immigration, and hate-crime laws".

In other words the main objectives are not to directly change laws and political structure, but to change culture and have laws follow. Sure, the better term would be "critical race theorists" or "intersectional feminists", but I'm not sure how big the difference between that and "Cultural Marxist" is.

Also, considering CRT academics and journalists frame it as a cultural/societal struggle, I'm not sure what's wrong with the cultural part. They're certainly different than people that want actual communism as a political system, so they're not plain Marxists. How would you describe them? Just as CRTs? I think the distinction should be made between what Muslims believe and reality though. We know about A'isha's marriage through "narrations" known as hadiths, which aren't historically reliable because they're pretty much a game of telephone (or at least, they're supposed to be). Muslims believe that authentic hadiths have a reliable chain of narrators, so they believe that the information reported in these hadiths are true.

Now, if you believe that hadiths are historically accurate and "true", then you would also be accepting the other bullshit found in the hadiths, like Muhammad performing miracles.

That's why it's better and more accurate to say "Muslims believe that their prophet had sex with a 9-year-old" instead of "Muhammad had sex with a 9-year-old".
