There is no 'spectrum' either you have the genuine disability of autism, which will be identified when you're a child, or self-diagnose from wikipedia in your twenties for the neetbux and to justify why you're socially awkward and won't get a job.
Most self-diagnosed internet autists have, at best, traits of what used to be called aspergers. Since they merged aspergers into the ASD spectrum you get a lot of 'I have autism' from people who frankly have far more in common with the neurotypical than what most people would call autism. Sure it may be technically true if you follow the current DSM but always feels wrong to me.
