This caused the famine and lack of clean drinking water, which started the cholera outbreak, which lead to a decrease in workers, which lead to a larger famine and inflation and things just absolutely spiraled out of control after that.

But blaming capitalism for corrupt pieces of shit politicians with no moral duty to their citizens is retarded, same thing could’ve happened under communism but it would’ve just been state sponsored. It just so happens this time it was under capitalism.

The US isn't directly enemies with Yemen, they are first and foremost enemies with Iran and as a result friends with Saudi Arabia. The Saudis despise Iran more than anyone else and so are going scorched earth in Yemen as part of a broader proxy war with Iran leading to thousands of deaths and even more injuries and ill people. It might be a "shithole" but even basic human empathy should make you at least feel a little bad about the regular civilians caught up in a geopolitical nightmare.
