One of my favorite newer developments in the art of internet arguing is this tendency to deeply psychoanalyze one's opponent and extrapolate a great deal of character traits off a few comment-long exchange. I guess I shouldn't be surprised by Nancy Drew fans reading way too much into things lol, but this comment was mint:
Darlin', I don't know who or what hurt you. I'm sorry you sense such powerlessness in your own life that you feel like you have to alleviate some of that tension by attacking a random user in an obscure subreddit. You don't need to do this and trying to control other people and make them feel bad won't make you feel any better. I don't know exactly what you are facing in your personal life, but I hope it gets better. I know what it's like to be in pain and I wouldn't wish that on you or anyone.
If you absolutely feel the need to argue, perhaps you should join a forum devoted to that or go debate what you believe art is with the current owner of Duchamp's L.H.O.O.Q. However, if you, for some reason, feel the need to keep it up on here, go ahead, but you'll be doing so on your own, from now on. You'll have to talk to yourself or others, because after this comment, I'm done conversing with you. Downvote my stuff, report me, leave a mean comments, if that's what you feel like you must do in order to grasp a sense for control in your life.
There's much more I could say, now and in future, but we will leave it at that, because this conversation is not adding value to my life. You do whatever you want, and I will continue to do whatever I want and make my own choices, because that's all I have control over. To reiterate, I have no idea what's going on in your personal life, but I can tell by your need to assert control, argue, insult, and try to put your words in the mouth of a fictional character, that something's amiss.
