Why does this always happen in america and noone ever just shoots the dog? Like wtf is the point of having 4 times as many guns as people if you can't even shoot a dog when it attacks something? Isn't protection what carrying a gun is for?

This whole "controversy" is retarded to me. So fucking what if a chihuahua is more likely to nip at you? It is literally incapable of causing the same amount of damage. If a pitbull was only able to cause the same amount of damage as one our family wouldn't be so leery of them.
Side note, a retarded aunt of mine recently adopted a pitbull. The new pitbull decided it was time to try to eat the neighbors dog, she thinks its his fault her dog attacked the other dog on their own property somehow, and now feels "locked" into her own property because they had to install a gate to keep the dogs in. Apparently she cries over all of this but it's hard for me to give a fuck.
