Dumb luckswing drama [WARNING: NOT ABOUT WOMEN AND/OR BROWN PEOPLE]

During last night's New York Yankees @ Philadelphia Phillies baseball game, Phillies player Rhys (holy fucking mayo amirite) Hoskins appeared to get into a verbal altercation with a fan following a strikeout.
/r/baseball thread about the incident
Hoskins apologized immediately after the game, as baseball players aren't permitted to be interesting under any circumstances. However, this did not end the story. Today, someone claiming to be the spectator in question posted to a Phillies fan site, sounding just like a crotchety, baseball-watching mayo. He is immediately roasted in the comments for being a dumbass, then for being a potential fraud. In the end, he admits he was just trying to somehow drum up attention for his sports betting website that no one has ever heard of.

It was obviously fake from the beginning. No one would ever publicly admit to being a Phillies fan and nobody in Philadelphia has $1600

If it isn't about women or brown people, can we at least make this about Republicans or Democrats? How about ethics in vydia?

Daily reminder that the Braves are better than the Phillies
