To make the diamonds fear death she started a proxy war where she was the enemy but also the hero. She then killed herself to prove that diamonds are not untouchable. She then lead a final assault on the diamonds causing them to flee for thousands of years. Honestly it worked and she wasn't thinking that far ahead. Obviously they would come back. I had the same thought in season 1. Like why would they not come back?

That almost sounds cool, but then I remember its a shit amerifat cartoon.
