I think a great question to ask when determining if this is problematic is whether the joke would have been funny with a male interviewer. My guess is that Hernandez wouldn’t have batted an eye at being interviewed by a man who is 3-5” taller than he is. He probably has been interviewed by taller men many times throughout his career...without feeling the need to stand on a bucket. Therefor this is problematic.
