Someone who watches dubs, uses dub terms, etc. and acts like their version is superior even if it in reality isn't. This typically only applies when they're defending absolutely horrible dubs like Dragon Ball or Sailor Moon - because such fans will be very in your face about how they prefer the dub. In the case of Dragon Ball, the most hardcore dubbies will defend Bruce Faulconer music.
If you were to watch Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z/Dragon Ball GT (all three) in their entirety in Japanese with English subtitles, and were then to compare it to the Funimation dubs of all three, you'd quickly realize that fans of the dub are retards who watched a version that's so different it's basically an entirely different show - character motivations are sometimes radically changed.
Funimation turned a wuxia parody (basically a parody of Chinese martial arts stories) that eventually went into sci-fi territory into a fucking superhero show. So the fans of the dub tend to be fans of capeshit who have no fucking idea what Dragon Ball's actual genre is.
Basically - fans of the English dub of Dragon Ball are what you're thinking of, and they're retarded. Those who watched it subbed and actually paid attention tend to not be retarded (unless they're shonenfags who obsess over a nonexistent friendship angle that they're reading into it).
Dragon Ball doesn't have a canon, but if it did, Broli would have already been canon by virtue of being designed by Toriyama according to canonfag logic.
