Africans are historically absolute shite at world level swimming. A good black swimmer is quite rare (though obviously not unheard of). They absolutely dominate on the track though. Perhaps it's because of biology, perhaps it's because, in Africa, there's fuck all to safely swim in and a lot of open space to run in. Perhaps it's a mix of both.
