I wish at least one of them had at least gotten past the 'buy a plot of land and half-assedly try and tame it' phase. Imagine the shitshow that would have occurred. Tell us more about seasteads pls.
It's pretty much just all the problems you saw in Bioshock except their selfishness tore it all apart long before they even had a chance to develop cool powers.
I'm one day going to inherit way more scattered farmland than I have any interest in living on; now the idea of giving small plots to otherkin communes, anarchist groups and attempt #2637 at building a 4chan compound to watch the resulting shitshows sounds like the way to go.
Somebody wanted to start a commune out in the woods for people who think that they're werecreatures, but sadly most of the community weren't very open to the idea. It's kind of interesting because most new agey spiritual type communities have had a proposal like this, and most people were encouraging at best, but alt.horror.werewolves was such a hostile place in general that they just shot it down immediately and harassed the guy about it for years afterwards.

The only thing more pathetic than this post is how you think people actually actually care.

I never thought I'd see a venture of this type that was more likely to fail than seasteads.
These are truly strange times.

The power to not pay taxes until the cops show up.

Wow that's really dumb. Who would want to live on an isolated artificial mass in the middle of nowhere?

Can we get a basic summary of this drama? I started skimming, and this shit was never ending.

This obscure drama is my fav drama. Hits all the right spots.
1 snallygaster 2018-07-11
Just the obscure part, or is there something else about it? I can find some more for later.

All of it like those old forum signatures, the odd subcultures like werewolves and vampires, that it's 2001 internet history.

You think any of these people died on 9/11?
