This is how drama my grandma is

This morning I got a text saying my grandma had been taken by ambulance. I went on my family group chat where they were all talking about it. No one knew what was wrong with her and everyone was worrying sick. My aunt went to my grandma's house and checked on things, got my grandma's medical bag, got my younger cousin, etc. Neighbors said the EMTs were there for a while, grandma was all strapped down and everything, they had full protocol on her. Like how they'd do with a chest pain or stroke patient. So of course now we were all panicking, because she has serious health problems. My aunt tried going to the hospital to check on her, but she went through a ton of shit to find her. My cousin said grandma was on oxygen (because she was gasping for breath before), she was on vitals, had blood taken, and she was acting completely out of it. Even had a foley catheter in. Like the staff were prepared for her to get completely out of it. Like she was barely keeping her eyes open. Muttering in pain. Staff could not leave her alone, no one was allowed to visit.

I waited like two or three whole hours. Our family panicked, trying to figure out what was going on. Everyone thought it was a huge emergency. My grandma is one of the souls of the family. Five of my cousins started driving into town from over an hour away, my uncle missed an important flight for work.

But grandma's being dismissed right now. She went to the emergency room and she declared it to be almost the end of her life, because she stepped on a Lego. A Lego.

Your Granny is a proper drama queen. Visit or phone more often to save her from getting LegoLegs.

Time to put the old dear down into a home

How did a lego end up on the floor of your grandma's house?

Apparently you've never stepped on a lego.
