I think that's a legit question. Listen, maybe I'm not your typical Q follower, whatever stereotype you guys have made up. Me, I have a life and a professional career that I worry about the most. Life will go on with whatever happens because Q doesn't consume my life. It's a fun hobby - a real time spy novel that I'm waiting to see the end of. Maybe the ending will be great, maybe it will be shit, but life will go on. I don't know if the Q story is real but I'm convinced that Q is some kind of intelligence psyop, to what end, time will tell. The one thing about the Q stuff that I do like is that, overall, it's a message of hope that the world will get better.

There are 2 questions you have to ask when it comes to Q. 1. Is the Q team part of intelligence releasing info? 2. If yes, then how much of the overall story do you believe? Qproofs.com and other sites have a lot of evidence to suggest 1. is true. Some of it is better than others but commulatively, I am convinced it's an insider. The drops have too many intricate legal stuff that would be challenging for a larper, even the best ever, to keep spinning. Plus this has been going on since November and a larp would have given up by now. It's up to everyone to look at the proofs and decide for themselves. Insofar as 2., that is a little more muddy because Q is a psyop with it's own ends. I do think most of the story is likely true - but some is not. It's up to you to look at things and see for yourself - that is the whole point of the great awakening.

8chan has been hacked and otherwise attacked numerous times and has changed hands from unreliable/sketchy person to unreliable/sketchy person, and any tripcode can be broken by running an algorithm for enough time. Why would a super secret government operative post on such a shoddy website, where it would be a huge security risk? Why would he post where illegal/legal gray-area porn and pics of dead children are a click or two away? Why would a government operative target a place that's populated almost entirely by political extremists and conspiracy theorists that aren't taken seriously to spread a message? Why would a government operative be posting classified information on an imageboard to begin with?

I'm not an expert but I'll try and answer as succintly as I can. I don't know much about 8ch's history but Q has said there is a reason why that board was used. First, it's uncensored. So while I have no idea if all that stuff is a click or two away, that is part of being uncensored. Q can post and discussion can happen without moderation or corporate bias. It's anonymous so no downvotes or brigading. Second, 8ch is a place where people talk about all kinds of crazy shit. Your mind is open to new concepts just by knowing about the place. Third, it is inhabited by a ton of autists. Autists are important because they do the research, spot the connections, use 'weaponized autism' to put the 'crumbs' together. Some of it is batshit crazy and some of it is savant genius - that mesh and hivemind is the beauty of 8ch. These guys are also smart enough to know how to use Twitter, to attach the message to trending hashtags etc, and importantly, to make memes. People don't recongize the power in memes. Even the most diplorable usually has a grain of truth and that is their power. They can shape the collective consciousness and Twitter is the primary delivery system. Q;s most compelling 'proofs' are made into memes and they spread like wildfire. Now the why. The great awakening was started to help the population digest what Q says is coming. Q's cryptic drops are by design in order to comply with the law - that is why autists are so important to put the puzzle together. Q often confirms or denies discoveries by anons. So consider this this first wave of the great awakening. Some of us know the 'story' and are here to help everyone digest when more of the 'story' crystalizes. Some people will want to know the entire, dark story; some people will just want to hear the top line; some won't want to hear it at all.
