Blake says Coke contacted her family Wednesday to explain the bottle cap is part of a contest being held by Vitamin Water where they randomly print one English word and one French word on their caps.
I'm saving this excuse for somewhere down the road
They way the "journalist" ends the article is so unintentionally back-handed I'm dying.
"My dad had taught our family what an awful word the 'r-word' is. So he was really upset about this."
Doug, who lives in Washington state, stayed up all night penning a letter to Coke.
"You see,the "R" word is considered a swear word in our family. We don't use it. We don't tolerate others using it around us. We ARE over-sensitive but you would be too if you had Fiona for a daughter!"
Itβs the same as energy drinks, innit? Their marketing strategy is to throw big words and vitamins at the consumer to make them think that itβs good.
I mean I buy energydrinks mostly just because of the coffein and the taste. Some of them are really tasty, but damn would I never assume them to be healthy.
Vitamin Water however is even more a scam because it even says the in the name "vitamin" water. Despite being just sugar water with some basic vitamin C mixed in.
I'm pretty sure energy drinks are just packed with caffeine. The other shit can all go to hell, but the five gazillion milligrams of caffeine works like a charm.
Vitamin B in serious oversize quantities does have a skin-flushing, energizing effect for most people. It's how 5-hour Energy, with its ~8000% B12, works.
this is why i always censor the a in retrd. you never know if you're going to hurt someone in this sub. please consider censoring the a in retrd when you write it here.

That entire subreddit is a cesspool. It's like a sewer that empties directly into a stagnant pond.

The odds of a family with a retarded daughter finding that cap is like winning the lottery πππ

Only reason they wrote that letter was so they could try and sue for emotional damages

Coke did nothing wrong.

Staying up all night to write a letter full of self-righteous outrage over this is the most Mayo thing possible.
I'd have laughed my ass off, showed it to everyone, and gone on with my life.

Most energy drinks have less caffeine than an equivalent sized cup of coffee. But they go down quicker because they're cold and sweet.

And Vitamin B.

Of course a normal person couldn't get the cap. It just had to be someone with a retarded daughter.
