Lmao imagine being so humorless that not only do you not understand certain types of humor, but you actively seek and destroy humor elsewhere that you don't understand. src
tbh i only said those two things since that's about all the weebology i know. glad i could expose the true weebs here though, i'm sure there's a helicopter somewhere with a free ride, just waiting for you and that furry street fighter guy
Teenage girl get to have snappy dresses, but in exchange they need to use up their body (grief in the soul gems), which slowly lead them toward scuicide/mass murder (witching out).
I know exactly who he's talking about: Matsuko Deluxe. When it comes to being "pretty accepted" though, it should be noted that Matsuko was a comedian(and a fierce one) already before adapting the current persona. Its just the kind of comedian/celebrity that can pretty much do whatever they want, and still be accepted.
Other than MD, literally all of the trans variety stars actually had trouble with harassment and hateful comments.
Some random fuckos from the US walking the streets in broad daylight certainly are gonna have a really good time... first it was the weebs who saw Japan as utopia and now its the trannies... smh
those damn whities at it again -- remember, the whole world was an LGBTQUIA++SKZNMWO! paradise until Churchill, Washington, Julius Caesar, and the rest of the Evil Overlords of Evil changed all of history in 1987 to hide the beauty of bussy from the common man, keeping it all for themselves!
did you know that Jesus was a nonbinary fish-kin who's only crime was hiding that sweet, sweet Jew bussy from the Romans?
You just call gay people homo or gay in Japanese, both from the English words. Male daughter is usually for cross dressers, and is not commonly used tbh, but might be hurled around by people who don't like gay people I guess.
So, trannies are not "accepted" any more in Japan than they are in most western countries. The only noticeable difference, is that until recently, they were slightly ahead of the curve in allowing someone to legally change their gender - but with the caveat that you actually had to be post op (no feminine penis was allowed).
All that aside, cultural attitudes are around the same as anywhere else in the world, maybe a bit more on the outright mocking side of things and less on the bashy-in-the-face kind of things. That's about it.
Also, It's pretty incredulous to me that people think they can move to Japan and get a job doing anything other than teaching English. I actually speak Japanese, have a JLPT N2 accreditation, and a previous work history in Japan at Sony as an engineer. It would still be very hard for me to find work in my occupation, there is just too much competition and no demand for outside specialties (other than typical foreigner jobs).

Smh. Weaboos are fucking retarded. Especially when they believe that Japan is a progressive country.

I fuckin love it when they go and then come back crying though.
"It was NOTHING like Madoka Magica! I didn't even see a SINGLE super sayan!"

Japan's exploitation of teenage girls is exactly like Madoka Magica.

I didn't expect this to fit so well, tbh.

They barely tolerate the gays. If I remember correctly their word for a gay dude translates into "male daughter".

i thought hating gay people was just a 30-year phase they went through

I think before WWII it was sort of like how the Greeks and Romans viewed it and then we ruined it for them.

Just because Japan likes putting traps in anime doesn't mean they'll be accepting of you.

Lol, imagine thinking that anime that has traps are well received with your average Japanese person.
